Our practitioners use a number of ‘evidence-based’ (well researched) psychological therapies.
Recognising the link between a healthy mind, body and ‘self’, we also offer yoga classes and meditation courses at our centre.
Your first meeting with a therapist can be a little daunting but here at Be Free, we are warm and friendly and create a safe space in which you’ll quickly feel at ease.
Appointments usually run for 50 to 60 minutes. During the initial meetings we will discuss the issues that brought you for help in the context of the rest of your life, relationships and experiences, in order to reach a shared understanding of your difficulties, providing the basis for the help we can then offer.
What happens in subsequent sessions will depend on the issue you have brought to therapy, your aims and what best fits your needs. However, usually we will work together using a range of well researched psychological approaches to help you recognise and change old, restrictive patterns of thinking, behaving or relating and to challenge negative self-beliefs, in order that you find your freedom and happiness.
